Light Filtering Technologies
Light is at the origin of everything we see. It affects our perception of contrast, colours and details. At Nikon, we know light.
We believe light management is as important as vision correction. From filtering UV & blue light to glare reduction or brightening, light management solutions play a pivotal role to give you an optimised vision.
Light management needs vary depending on your lifestyle and we make sure to have vision solutions to match them all.

For All Day Clarity & Comfort
Throughout the day, your eyes may encounter various light sources such as UV, blue light¹, glare and more. When night comes and light dims, inadequate lighting could make it challenging to see details clearly.
Nikon brings you an innovative light management vision solution that shield your eyes from UV and glare, filtering blue light¹ while enhancing your perception of contrast and colours in low light.

For Blue Light¹ Filtering
Blue light¹ is omnipresent in our environment, whether from sunlight outdoors, indoor lighting, or digital devices.
Nikon develops vision solutions that filter blue light¹ effectively, keeping pace with the fast rhythms of modern life without compromising how you look with the lenses. Work hard and play hard!

For Better Vision in Dim Light
In low-light environments, seeing every detail can be challenging.
Nikon’s innovation Brightening Technology enhances light transmission, especially in the red visible light spectrum to bring you better clarity and visibility in dim lighting.

For Frequent Drivers
When you are behind the wheels, clear vision is essential to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
Nikon has specific light management vision solutions that could help reduce reflections and glare, allowing you to stay focused on the road, whether during long drives or at night.
